“ Came in for coffee- my cappuccino was perfect. BLT wrap was the best I have ever eaten (came back two days later and got the same thing again!). Love the dog-friendky patio. Service was excellent! Highly recommend. ”
“ Stopped in for coffee. Great service and fast. They are more than just coffee! Plenty of options -sandwiches, pastries, and ice cream, to choose from. ”
“ Always greeted with a smile and treated with professionalism and warmth. Addressed by name by all of the regular employees. ”
“ Great coffee, well prepared food and attentive staff at reasonable prices. Taste Full Beans is the bedrock of the community. If you are a creative, TFB's atmosphere will strike your chord. Some refer to it as the Algonquin Round Table of the Foothills. You're are bound to run into an artist or writer during your visit. ”
“ The first and best place in Catawba County to bask in community, kindness and creativity. The staff is its own stellar team. Their energy mirrors the creative dedication of owner/ writer, Scott Owens. He hosts ongoing readings for poets and writers, as well as once-a-month jazz Sundays which showcase the talent of local musicians. The space is an evolving gallery for award-winning photographers like Clayton Joe Young, as well as visual artists whose paintings are also for sale. The book selection features work by Red Hawk Publications: CVCC's flagship publishing house. They also offer cards and handmade gifts by artists in town, a huge selection of organic coffees and teas, by the cup or pound. The food is healthy, delicious and affordable. Coffee is just the beginning. Tasteful Beans is a cultural town square, all under one awning. So grateful for this home base in Hickory. ”
“ My wife and I ordered a coffee and a matcha, both were terrific and the staff were friendly ”
“ Did I just find my new favorite place!? I am in the area for an extended work trip and I stopped in Taste Full Beans to see what it was and I was so pleasantly surprised by every little detail of this establishment. First of all, the ease of ordering is incredible. You can order from an iPad online the second you walk in the door or you can order in person at the counter. They have a LOT of cute and unique spaces to sit. There are little corners tucked away and also tables right in the open where you can sit and hear some fantastic live music. For my book lovers out there, they have a FREE little library AND they also sell loads of books from local authors. But wait, there's more! They also have lots of goods for sale such as beautiful art, jewelry, and greeting cards. The staff are friendly and efficient. The space is clean and bright. They have so many delicious treats to choose from. I ended up getting the Brave New Year smoothie and it was absolutely delicious. If I lived in Hickory, I would be a regular for sure!!! ”
“ I was visiting from NY and stopped in on my friend's recommendation and boy was she right. The menu, while a bit overwhelming with choices, left me feeling like I was getting my moneys worth because there was so much to choose from--iced coffees, hot coffees, lattes, teas, tea lattes, and on & on. I got the flight and was able to get it all sugar free which was a bonus. The kale salad was so tasty, but I'd ask for less dressing as it was pretty wet. Avo toast definitely had a full avocado--bring a to go container to bring your extra home. Eclectic merch choices, too, but I'd have liked to have seen more local stuff--local postcard scenes, stickers with branding, etc. Overall a really cool vibe. ”
“ This place really has an awesome vibe. They have an extensive menu, and the stuff we ordered was pretty yummy. Went on a Sunday late morning, and there was a guy playing guitar. Lots of interesting things to look at as far as art, jewelry, and all kinds of things for sale. I highly recommend this place. If I'm ever back in this area, I will definitely stop in again. ”
“ Stopped in for a bevvy and a sweet treat. They had a vast menu that was a little overwhelming but there is def something for everyone. They were running out of Mac's but had so many flavors overall! I wish they'd had a little more gf options for dessert. ”
